Untuk melakukan seleksi penempatan jabatan di perusahaan, tidak cukup hanya menggunakan asesmen kompetensi saja, sangat perlu juga dilakukan asesmen yang bertujuan menggali potensi kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh pegawai.

Setiap pegawai dari level bawah sampai dengan atas memiliki nama jabatan dan jobdesc nya masing2.

Perlu dipahami bahwa didalam jobdesc terdapat dinamika kompetensi (KSA) dan Potensi (Talent). Jobdesc yang merupakan aktifitas seorang pegawai yang sangat terkait erat dengan karakter kepribadiannya (Talent).

Apabila antara Karakter kepribadian bisa selaras dengan aktifitasnya, maka akan dihasilkan kinerja yang unggul serta produktif dan sangat bisa dilakukan secara konsisten. Karena berselarasnya Kompetensi dan potensi akan menghasilkan intgritas yang baik bagi pegawai.

Ini akan menjadi manfaat yang sangat besar bagi perusahaan dan pegawai itu sendiri, karena perusahaan dan pegawai berkembang bersama-sama, sehingga pencapaian visi perusahaan bisa tercapai dengan baik.

Kenaikan jabatan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja perusahaan atas staffnya, yang berarti jika promosi jabatan yang dilakukan baik maka kepuasan kerja karyawan tinggi, begitu pula sebaliknya.
