AIR GEGAS – Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) memberikan dukungan, sekaligus apresiasi terhadap kegiatan TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) ke-119 Tahun 2024 yang berlangsung di Desa Tepus, Kecamatan Air Gegas, Kabupaten Bangka Selatan.
“Acara ini kerja sama semua pihak, baik dari TNI AD, AL, AU, dan Kepolisian, serta Pemda Babel, dan Pemda Basel, serta masyarakat,” ujar Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Safrizal ZA, saat membuka kegiatan yang diawali dengan upacara TMMD, Selasa (20/2/24).
Menurut pria yang juga menjabat sebagai Direktur Jenderal Bina Administrasi Kewilayahan ini, TMMD merupakan bukti nyata TNI bersama masyarakat untuk membangun desa, sehingga masyarakat lebih sejahtera.
“Dalam kegiatan TMMD adalah membangun jalan sepanjang 11 km, lebar 7 meter, sehingga memberikan aksesibilitas bagi masyarakat, yang disinergiskan dengan Gerakan Semarak Babel. Alhamdulillah Pak Danrem dan Pak Dandim turut mendukung,” jelas Safrizal.
Lebih lanjut, hasil kegiatan TMMD ini patut didukung, karena sangat positif, dan bertujuan untuk membangun desa yang lebih baik dalam upaya peningkatan ekonomi. Untuk itu, orang nomor satu di Babel ini meminta kepada pemerintah desa maupun masyarakat setempat untuk memaksimalkan jalan yang dibangun TNI ini, termasuk dijadikan tempat wisata baru, yaitu agro wisata.
“Sepanjang 11 kilometer itu ditanam pohon buah-buahan, kita siapkan bibitnya. Kita minta kepada jajaran pemerintah daerah untuk menjaga tanaman tersebut, sehingga dapat menggugah potensi dan menggerakkan ekonomi melalui new destination tourism“, katanya.
Sementara itu, Komandan Korem (Danrem) 045/Garuda Jaya Brigjen TNI Agustinus Dedy Prasetyo mengatakan, tentara masuk desa yang bertujuan untuk membangun infrastruktur, dan menopang perekonomian masyarakat tersebut melibatkan sebanyak 150 personel aktif, dan dikerjakan selama 30 hari.
“Secara fisiknya kita memperbaiki jalan 11 kilometer, membangun gorong-gorong. Selain itu kegiatan non fisik kita mencegah sunting, donor darah, kesehatan masyarakat, wawasan kebangsaan, dan kegiatan sosial lainnya,” tutur Danrem.
Sementara itu, Bupati Bangka Selatan Riza Herdavid, menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya kepada kepada TNI. Dengan adanya TMMD ke-119 ini diyakininya sangat membantu masyarakat untuk mendapatkan akses transportasi yang paralel dengan Gerakan Semarak Babel yang digaungkan oleh Pj Gubernur Safrizal.
“Jadi sepanjang 11 km akan ditanam pohon buah sehingga 3 tahun dari sekarang jalan ini akan menjadi jalan buah, hasilnya dapat dikonsumsi masyarakat dan harapannya digarap secara serius sehingga menjadi daya tarik wisata baru, makan buah sepanjang jalan di Kabupaten Bangka Selatan” tutup Safrizal.
