Pagi ini, Sabtu 16 Januari 2021, bertempat di zoom meeting, telah terlaksana acara peluncuran dan bedah buku karya Widya Rizky Pratiwi, seorang kandidat doktor dan juga merupakan pengurus perkumpulan Rumah Produktif Indonesia (RPI) yang didirikan oleh Yanuardi Syukur.
Kegiatan ini terlaksana atas kerjasama antara RPI Sumatra Barat dengan Bulukumba English Meeting Club (BEMC).
Pada kesempatan ini hadir juga Wakil Bupati Bulukumba Tomi Satria Yulianto yang memberikan dukungan dan apresiasinya atas terbitnya buku karangan Widya ini.
“Saya bangga sekali karena seorang putra daerah asli Bulukumba telah mampu menerbitkan buku yang langka ini. Sebuah buku yang sangat bermanfaat bagi kemajuan pendidikan di Bulukumba khususnya dan Indonesia pada umumnya,” ujar Tomi saat menyampaikan kesan dan pesannya di awal acara.
Pada kesempatan ini juga hadir Rafiud Ilmunidulloh, sesama rekan penulis ketika belajar di Kampung Inggris Pare. Ia menyampaikan apresiasinya atas terbitnya buku ini.
Di kesempatan yang sama, Herdie Idriawien Gusti, pembina BEMC menyampaikan kebanggaannya atas terbitnya buku ini. Dia mengatakan bahwa dengan buku ini, banyak orang akan tercerdaskan dan mendapat pencerahan tentang metode dan cara cepat bisa menguasai Bahasa Inggris.
Yanuardi Syukur, Presiden Rumah Produktif Indonesia yang didaulat untuk menyampaikan kata sambutan, sekaligus meluncurkan buku ini secara resmi menyampaikan harapannya agar setelah peluncuran buku tersebut akan ada aksi nyata berupa didirikannya Kampung Inggris di banyak kota di Indonesia.
“Alhamdulillah. Widya Rizky Pratiwi adalah peserta dalam grup “1 naskah 1 bulan” yg saya buat setahun lalu dgn anggota 70-80-an orang. Alhamdulillah, Widya jadi orang pertama yg berhasil dan sukses menyelesaikan naskah, menerbitkan naskah, dan meluncurkan naskah. Saya sangat senang dgn capaian ini. Luar biasa,” ujar Yanuardi.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Widya memaparkan isi buku yang telah dia tulis, juga harapan dan impiannya agar ke depan generasi bangsa dapat menguasai bahasa Inggris, karena saat ini bahasa inggris adalah bahasa internasional yang mau tidak mau harus kita kuasai jika ingin menjelajahi bahkan menguasai dunia.
“Bahasa Inggris adalah salah satu bahasa yang wajib kita kuasai untuk memudahkan kita menggapai impian,” ujarnya dengan bersemangat.
Sebanyak 60 orang peserta menghadiri acara peluncuran dan bedah buku ini. Para peserta tersebut berasal dari banyak daerah di Indonesia, seperti Sulawesi Selatan, Sumatra Barat, Lampung, Jawa barat dan daerah timur Indonesia.
Maghdalena, Ketua DPW RPI Sumatra Barat yang juga menjadi moderator pada acara ini memberikan kuis dan doorprise bagi peserta yang beruntung menjawab pertanyaan seputar buku yang dibedah.
“Saya senang sekali dengan acara ini, Kak. Dan saya berharap, acara seperti ini akan lebih sering lagi diadakan,” ujar Tri Lenawati, salah seorang peserta yang juga berhasil menjawab pertanyaan dari moderator dan mendapatkan satu buah hadiah buku karya Widya.
