Apa hubungan sepakbola dan dakwah Islam? Sepintas kita akan sulit menemukannya. Sepakbola itu hiburan dan olahraga, dakwah identik dengan keagamaan dan spiritualitas. Jadi agak sulit menemukan korelasi yang erat antara keduanya.

Tapi pandangan ini rasanya belakangan mulai dapat dibantah. Fenomena terkini, selalu ada pesan dakwah dalam sepakbola Indonesia. Setidaknya ini muncul dalam ajang sepakbola putra SEA GAMES tahun 2023 di Kamboja. Ada sujud syukur di sana setiap kali timnas sepakbola Indonesia mencetak gol ke gawang lawan.

Tradisi sujud syukur dikembangkan Indra Sjafri dan tim pelatih setiap kali pemain Indonesia sukses mencetak gol. Tak ada selebrasi buka baju yang sering berbuah kartu kuning, siulan Siu khas Ronaldo dan lainnya. Tapi yang ada sujud syukur sebagai tanda gembira dan bahagia, karena muncul kesuksesan mencetak gol di sana. Dalam sebuah kesempatan, Indra Sjafri selaku pelatih timnas sepakbola Indonesia berkata “Saya bisa dakwah di sepakbola. Saya ubah selebrasi buka baju menjadi sujud syukur”

Sebuah pengajaran penting diajarkan Sjafri ke anak asuhnya agar tidak meninggalkan dakwah Islam dalam kesehariannya. Dimanapun berada, Allah akan selalu ada untuk hambanya yang mau bersyukur. Maka penting menundukkan kepala dan bersujud ketika kita meraih kesuksesan. Sujud syukur setiap mencetak gol adalah tanda kemenangan timnas sepakbola Indonesia bukan karena individunya yang hebat, tapi itu karena kehebatan dan kasih sayang Allah semata.

Melalui sepakbola kita diajarkan edukasi, hiburan, sportivitas, nasionalisme dan dakwah Islam. Itulah yang hadir di lapangan dan dikembangkan Indra Sjafri. Terlihat sujud syukur itu sederhana, tapi bermakna besar bahwa bukan kita yang hebat tapi Allah SWT. Makna lain, inilah cara kita sebagai manusia buat perbanyak syukur agar nikmatnya terus ditambah. Hasilnya bukan main-main, nikmat medali emas sepakbola SEA GAMES 2023 di Kamboja. Jika sudah begini, maka nikmat manakah lagi yang kamu dustakan?
