Menjelang masuknya bulan suci Ramadhan, kadang dalam sepi kita jadi merenungkan apa-apa yang telah kita lakukan di masa-masa yang telah berlalu. Kita mencoba mengingat, apa yang telah saya lakukan satu tahun setelah berlalunya bulan Ramadhan yang lalu; apakah lebih banyak baiknya, ataukah lebih banyak buruknya.
Menjelang masuknya Ramadhan kita juga disadarkan bahwa ada satu bulan yang paling mulia yang di dalamnya banyak sekali kemuliaan. Di bulan itu semua amal sekecil apapun akan dibalas dengan sebaik-baiknya berkali-kali lipat. Sebelum tiba Ramadhan, kita pun bertekad untuk maksimal, tapi entah kenapa ketika di bulan mulia itu pikiran dan perasaan kita terdistraksi oleh hal-hal yang sebenarnya dapat kita singkirkan untuk sementara.
Menjelang Ramadhan kita jadi teringat dengan ibu dan bapak. Kedua orang tua kita sangat dekat dengan kita. Perantaraan kasih dan sayang merekalah sehingga kita bisa seperti sekarang. Mereka ada yang masih bersama kita dan ada juga yang telah mendahului kita. Kadang, teringat kita bagaimana suasana sahur bersama, suasana buka puasa, ketika orang tua kita berkata, “…makan lagi yang banyak,” atau “…tambah lagi” semata agar anaknya bisa kenyang dan senang berpuasa di bulan Ramadhan.
Kita juga diajak untuk mengingat kampung abadi, yakni akhirat. Semua orang pasti akan ke sana pada saatnya. Kita berziarah ke makam orang terdekat kita, membersihkan kuburan mereka, dan mendoakan mereka. Ya Allah ampunilah mereka, rahmatilah mereka, maafkanlah kesalahan mereka yang telah mendahului kami. Hati kita pun jadi tersentuh, bahwa hidup ini bukan hanya mikir kita sendiri tapi juga ada orang-orang sebelum kita yang perlu kita ziarahi, perlu kita doakan.
Ramadhan bulan kita mengaji lebih banyak. Setelah turun sembahyang, kita pun pergi ke sudut masjid, menundukkan kepala, menyesali dosa-dosa yang pernah ada, kemudian kita mengambil mushaf Al Qur’an, dan mulai membaca ayat suci tersebut. Sedikit kita banyak, balasannya berlipat, bagaimana lagi jika banyak yang kita baca.
Pada bulan mulia itu teringatlah kita suasana ketika mulai belajar berbicara di depan jemaah. Pada sebuah malam setelah turun Maghrib, bergegas kita ke belakang rumah naik perahu menuju pula. Gelap di lautan saat itu tak kita peduli, tak takut kita dengan kegelapan, karena toh laut dan kegelapan yang ada di dalamnya adalah dalam kuasa Allah. Dan, kita pun tiba di masjid kecil, dan mulai memberanikan diri menyampaikan kalimat-kalimat suci yang sempat kita pelajari.
Bulan Ramadhan bulan silaturahmi. Diundang kita untuk silaturahmi, cerita dan makan-makan. Silaturahmi itulah yang paling penting, sebab di balik silaturahmi selalu ada kebaikan. Tak kita pikir berapa ongkos terpakai, sebab kita yakin bahwa pahala silaturahmi itu besar, dan tidaklah mungkin Dia yang Maha Pemberi Rezeki tidak memberikan rezeki-Nya untuk kita bersilaturahmi.
Ramadhan bulan untuk introspeksi diri, merenung-renung apa yang telah kita lakukan di masa lalu. Adalah sifat buruk yang masih tertinggal di hati? Adakah takabbur, mau dipuja, mau dipuji, mau dilihat, mau dibicarakan, ada dalam hati? Kita merenungkan itu. Dan, kita pun menyesali masa lalu yang buruk yang telah kita lewati sambil berkata, “Kenapa bisa aku melakukan hal buruk?” Padahal, itu aku tahu sesuatu yang buruk.
Introspeksi diri sifatnya sangat sangat personal. Ada yang senang introspeksi di kamarnya, di rumahnya, di kantornya, di pusat perbelanjaan, di taman, atau di rumah Allah–di masjid. Introspeksi diri, apakah komitmen ketaatan masih tetap terjaga saat mana dunia mulai hadir merayu dan kemudahan mulai tampak di depan mata. Introspeksi perlu sekali kita lakukan, waktunya terserah pada kita, kapan yang terbaik.
Menjelang masuknya bulan Ramadhan, diri ini ingin berharap, berdoa, dan berusaha semoga dapat menjalaninya dengan lebih baik dari yang lalu-laku. Tamatkanlah bacaan Al Qur’an, minimal satu kali. Bersedekahlah yang lebih bermakna, dan segeralah lupakan. Memberi sebaik mungkin, dan segera melupakan setelah itu. Jadilah pribadi yang taat pada-Nya, pada Sang Pencipta kita, dimana pun kita berada. Ahlan wa sahlan ya Ramadhan, ahlan wa sahlan ya syahral Qur’an.
